Misseeing
As a kid I would always misssee things, a shape, or a shadow, something upside down, or caught in the sun-light. My favorite game was to stare at the wood grain of my grandfathers pine doors, the knots would slowly form faces and melt away. I realized that this was imagination, plus an ability to flick between dreaming and seeing, I have been obsessed by that all of my life.
Since having children, I’ve realized that this isn’t a ‘normal’ skill and that my children have inherited it too. So I made a series of books to investigate misseeing, mishearing, misfitting and misunderstanding and the world of opportunity it creates.
The books can be purchased here.
